In fact, according to eMarketer, the Aberdeen Group found that 63% of best-in-class companies they surveyed plan to increase their social media marketing budgets this year.
The Aberdeen Group goes on to say that one of the reasons marketers are making the shift is because they have "developed the tools and methodologies to drive marketing ROI by listening to and learning from customers and prospects".
